'Ka Wo Man Si Hing'

'Ka Wo Man Si Hing', a smooth life starts from a balance harmony of a family. It's not where you stay, what car you drive, what type of Abalone you like, how much money you have in the bank etc. It's always the right attitude that comes 1st, having utmost gratitude that you're truly happy with simple, happy life. The reason why I said this begins with last Sunday, I went to visit my Uncle Chew who's finally resting at home with other brothers and my mom's waiting for me to come also. They're all having the usual brother, sister talk and I was there laughing as usual that afternoon.

Although they're all staying in an apartment now compared to before, we used to stay in a big 3 storey house together, I think they're old and mature enough now to live happy, simple life together. But no matter how simple life they can lead these days, their home theatre system is advanced enough like a mini cinema to me with the most updated technology you can see in the market and they're watching new movies everyday. They still enjoy life in a smaller place but in a better attitude ever.

My uncles all took turns to share their latest stories with me that day where he told me he dye Uncle Gudeh's white hair to black hair, using his pocket money. I was thinking it's great that they actually bonded time and money for each other in their 50's and 60's. My Uncle Chew has been going in and out to University Hospital for many times in the past 2 weeks. I told him he really made us worried about him and finally he has agreed to take Cellfood now after that morning when he's supposed to do an angioplasty surgery, doctor said no more blockage so the surgery's been cancelled.

Not only it save him the cost of RM10,000 but it saves my worries for him. That few days when I visit him at the hospital, I pushed him to take it from the 1st day. Seeing the miraculous result himself, he agreed to take it since I'm buying it for him he's very happy about it. I actually told him that I'm lazy to explain again and again for so many times that whatever healthy supplements which are good in the market, you need to have healthy cells 1st before you can absorb other nutritious supplements. With this lesson learnt, he realized how important to listen and learn. We are extremely busy recently with more than 130 new items developed for the Japanese buyers but family matter always comes 1st.

Thank God the completion of Autumn Project is finally completed this week, will be ship over to Japan today and we can take a break for Merdeka holiday with my mom and sister Defney(3 sekawan). They both have planned this for long as 3 of us love shopping, exploring everywhere eating good food and enjoying spa together. And they wanted to visit the famous 'Bak Lung Wong', the White Dragon King Temple in Chiangrai, Thailand with us as they heard about it from other friends travelling to Chiangmai must visit this famous temple for sure. I spoke to my dear Charmers already, they totally understand that this time of travel only 3 of us would be going with Rambo as they don't like going shopping with us so we'll plan another year end school holiday with them soon. Haha...my dear Charmers are big girls now.

Nowadays, it's Rambo who actually tempted me to go travel and enjoy life. He works really hard to earn money and he wana be inspired to get motivated for the next projects in hand. That Sunday when we met Jeyie, who's going to Canada this year he asked me to plan Canada+USA trip soon but I told Rambo and Jeyie "Cannot lah, no need to work ka? Haha...this year itself we have travelling plans to 10 countries so it's really enough for 2013." Even my best ally Sis Toto kept asking us to go Myanmar with them this year end, I'm not interested to join that. And when my long lost schoolmate asked me about travel, I told her we should plan nicely 1st before we make any decision soon. I'm already on holiday mood, happy holiday all and C ya in Sept!

STURMANSKIE Historical Event

Sturmanskie Russian brand by the Red Army Watches at Zang Toi last Saturday afternoon.

Russia is the world's largest manufacturer in Aviation wristwatches, with a history going back to 1927 when the Russian government decided to build quality watches for its military. From highly complicated chronographs to big-dialed, easy-to-read timekeepers, the Aviator watch by Volmax is the culmination of three quarters of a century of aviation watch development.

Zang Toi's signature cocktail snacks, eating while learning more about the Russian brand historical inspiration
about their watches. Worthy of my time spent as watches is part of the fashion passion I'm passionate about.

In 1949 the manufacturing of Sturmanskie watches was started. They were standard issue to all air force pilots at the time and were never sold in shops. On 12 April 1961, Gagarin became the first human to travel into space in Vostok 3KA-2 (Vostok 1) and return.

It's been a few years already I've been trying to get a new, nice watch for myself just for the fun of it as a watch collector but I couldn't find one that I really like. This year, I have also attended a few of the branded watches parties' invitation, I find that now many of the brands have total changes in designs revolving of adding crystals, diamonds and many new artistic designs on the watches that speaks of luxury, sophistication and sensational class.

Juliana introducing the Sturmanskie brand to us. Mainly on the Sputnik, Open Space and Strela
introduction from the Sturmanskie models.

During his historic flight he wore Shturmanskie wristwatch – which thus became the first watch to travel into Space and demonstrated perfect functioning in the conditions of zero-gravity.In 2013 "Volmaks" releases the new quartz range of "Sturmanskie" known by highest quality and affordable price point. The price range is between RM660 to RM9600(only arrive to Malaysia in December 2013), seems affordable to me.

Getting a branded watch at the end of the day, it's always the price factor that finally decides if it's worth to pay for the luxury and elegance of a watch or the many functionality of a watch that's suitable for you. And it's always worth to spend some money on branded watches because it's the quality that speaks by itself in time to come. Just like my Mikimoto Pearl Watch, it's been 5 years I have never change the battery, it's still working and as pretty as new.

Often times I saw someone wearing a nice watch I talked to them about watches, they kept on sharing with me about their thoughts and why they are willing to spend a fortune on it. I totally understand that and I usually encouraged everyone to get a nice watch to keep and wears it everyday not because you wana show off your status about who you are and how capable you are to others but it's the personality that you portrays as a watch lover with passion towards watches. I always reminding Rambo from time to time that Buddhism taught us we only need 3 basic things in life to be happy.

The 1st important thing is a home sweet home that comes with total harmony in the family and not a big bungalow with daily arguments and worries to pay monthly payment for the big house, secondly is the food and thirdly is the clothing. To me, a watch is consider what I'm wearing everyday, part of the clothing thing that I can spend and feeling great about it. Just like my sister who told me that she's saving some money to buy a luxury watch or a branded handbag like Fendi and I totally support her on that as it's part of the things we carry or wear everyday.

The back of the watch design looks nice too. Simple yet interesting to admire when you put on the watch.

I remember I met this Tan Sri who wore a branded watch cost more than RM100K during one of the meeting my friend Karen asked me to accompany her to promote the latest Merc Benz to him. I told her she only needs to follow-up with him but never put too much hope in pushing him to buy a new car as he's so rich he can afford to drive any car he wanted.

And with the watch he's wearing already symbolise his high living standard for sure. In sales and marketing, you really need to be observant enough to spot that and prioritise what comes 1st to maximise your sales target. In fact, I told her to concentrate more focus to this 30's man who came that afternoon for a test drive who may buy a brand new Merc Benz from her and so she did it.

This is one of the many models that I like most with a world globe on a watch seems cool to me, cost RM864.

2007 Volmax launched the “Sputnik” line of commemorative watches, dedicated to the world’s first artificial satellite.  The case is made in a unique, classic design and fits the wrist perfectly.  With a map of the Earth etched on the dial, the rotating disc that replaces the standard central second hand symbolizes Sputnik’s orbit around the globe.

A picture momento with Rane, Julianna, MD of Red Army Watches Malaysia and Ashley.

Sturmanskie brand is available in Malaysia at Pavilion Level 4, Ground Floor One Utama and Level One Tropicana City Mall. I have two RM50 voucher for the purchase of Hirsch strap collection, if you like to have it do pm me. To get up close with the brand, you can check out www.redarmywatches.com and Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/redarmywatchesmalaysia

SKINLITE Skin Brightening Vitamin E Mask Review

SaSa RM10 voucher I got from Lipstiq Summer Party last Saturday, so I bought
this Skinlite Brightening Vitamin E Mask that cost RM15.90. Just give it a try
since I never use any of this brand of mask before. Lucky it gives good result.

The mask is creamy thick and smells ok. After about 10 minutes, I cleanse it with water and see that my skin is
bright and radiant. For RM15.90 I don't expect much but it does give good result of a brightening mask.
Check it out from SaSa stores near to you, there's sale going on now too. Happy shopping!

Buddhism 3 Treasures Values

This cute Buddha picture is so cute I can't help it but to share it on my Facebook page. That night I asked Rambo if he have seen this and he reads it, "Ren Shen San Bao - Shou : Zuo Hao Shi, Kou : Shuo Hao Hua, Jiao : Zou Hao Lu". The good meaning of this Buddhism teaching seems easy but it's not easy to do at all. What to say to practise Buddhism, it's even harder unless you're really sincere practising it for good. If you really understand the meaning of this and practise it with good faith and total sincerity, you'll succeed to lead a good, happy life for yourself.

Rambo totally agreed with me on the statement I just shared with him. Said is always easier than really doing it, what to say in this reality world that's full of greed, anger and ignorance of today's social world. Too many lies, rumours and criticism from everyone who think they're right but they never realised that a fight/argument will not happen if you speaks with honesty, sincerity and clarity of the situation. Not forgetting to eradicate the 1st poison that's ego, most easily and sensitive attack of all.

No one is really perfect and we tend to make mistakes every now and then or within a minute when someone is rude to us for example. But when a fight did happened, always 'Fan Sing' yourself on the incident if you yourself is really at fault or not. And in any misunderstanding, fight or arguments, there is no such thing that you're totally right or wrong as everyone tends to think they're right and stand firm at their position. If it's because of one fight, the relationship gone sour or ended, it's kinda wasted as affection is always greater than perfection.

Just like the case in 'Letting Go Blog' that I have shared between my Da Jie and her daughter, both of them do not wana 'mengalah' and Da Jie already told us that night if her daughter never apologize to her before the Wednesday Raya Holiday, she will be grounded at her private school and not coming with us. This time, Da Jie really stand firm on her position because she have given so many chances to her but she never appreciates that and learn good attitudes in life.

My Sis Toto told me that she called the private school teacher and lecture her on the 'Di Zi Gui' teachings just to make sure that she learn about filial piety and apologize to her mom or else, she gotta stayed the whole week at the school alone by herself as the other cousins are joining us. She did so Da Jie forgave her that night and she came along with us. Someone needs to make the 1st move somewhere, somehow and in this case, her daughter was smart enough.

And both gotta be 'Dai Yan Yao Dai Leong'(A person with a big heart) to forgive and forget each other that eventually will lead to a better ending. No point holding any grudge with anyone as time pass by, you only have enough time to spend precious times with loved ones, full of joys, cheers and laughters. That's what I told my friends whom I finally met for a gathering after 10 years gap and they asked me, "Why you never age, you still look the same like 10 years before?" Haha...I only managed to smile.

I knew I laugh a lot as I'm always a happy go lucky person, even my dear Charmers always wanted to hear me laugh out loud when I read their sharing diaries with me every Saturday. Weeks by weeks, I have seen so much improvements in their sharing, spelling and characters as well. At times, they may have misunderstandings and heart feelings with each other that happen during the week. I called out one by one, listen to their stories and clarify the whole situation with them before advising them what to do.

In fact, I never take any sides as I told them I love 3 of them with all my heart. And they are kids, they're purely cute and innocent. Today, they unfriend each other but the next day, they play and eat together. It is as simple as that. Just like Lynette wrote the song lyric 'Proud Of You' and sang in front of me with her signature gestures and dance, I was so proud of her but I told her she only needs to sing a higher note at the end of ~"I can fly, I'm proud to fly up high."~Ying Shan was sitting beside me and she said she likes my singing better than her.

Upon hearing that, Lynette was not so happy about it and my sister Wan hinted to me secretly, "She don't like us to give any comment to her". Haha...I laughed and I told Lynette while hugging her tightly, "Lynette, we definitely love your singing even Popo said you're very clever. In fact, Dai Yiyi think you're fantastic. It's just that if you can sing higher notes at this part, it'll be perfect for you." She nodded her head, trying to digest what I have said to her in a gentle manner and she tried again.

Even my sister Shyan, another singer in the house who's working closely with a group of artistes in Malaysia gave her some tips of the soprano examples. I told her, we all meant well and it's really up to her how she wana sings it at the end of the day as long she's feeling comfortable with it. And so she tried again and I must admit that I was so proud of her as she did her very best. She actually listen to us and just like me, she's not easily affected by praise or blame to achieve what she wants in life.

What really matter is so long she's happy, we are happy for her that's for sure. And I'm glad that I really talk to her and have total faith in her that I can speak to her with total honesty and sincerity. She's a child aged 6 years old who speaks and behaved like an adult because she have the wisdom to listen and learn. I respect my dear Charmers just like they respect me, I always discuss and asked their opinions rather than to make any decision for them as I trust they have their own thoughts to their preference.

That's why we never fight or argue as everytime they have any misunderstandings, I tried to be their Arbitrator to solve and settle their disputes over the issue. And in their cases, it's usually small and minor problems as they're all just kids but I hope they learn from it. As time goes by, months to years now I can said that they are very mature, well-behaved and I'm very proud of them they can survive to live up their lives with total happiness so long they keep on practising the Buddhism values in them. Even to my sisters, I always remind them to be happy in life they need to practise Buddhism in their daily lives and they promised me they would. And from what I see is they're truly happy when they sincerely practise Buddhism. TQ Amituofo!

I only use it during evening bath time just to pamper my skin before the important night treatments application.
Check it out from ADONIS beauty salons if you're looking for new cleanser in town.

Pantai Remis Perak, Malaysia

1st day of Raya 2013, I gotta pushed myself really hard to wake up early in the morning for a family trip to
Pantai Remis, Perak. My best ally Sis Toto already booked me for Hari Raya Holiday since March 2013 so no
matter what her plan is, I'm already hooked on it liao. At 1st we wana go India but then due to Bro.Cheong's
final project completion, we finally followed Bro.Chai's plan to Perak for a 3days 2nights trip of Jalan-Jalan
Cari Makan trip since his partner has prepared a schedule itinery for us from am-pm with a good food list.
Rambo don't feel like going as he knew I sure don't like waking up early in the morning for a few hours drive
but then, Bro.Chai and Bro.Cheong kept asking me if I have check on the food list they sent to me and I told
them, it's one of the reason I wana go for this trip. It's all about the food, seafood and Sis Toto has rang me
many times in my brain memory that time spent with family will linger forever which I totally understand
and we decided to go along with them when the week comes, since I didn't 'Balik Kampung' to Johor this year.

Luckily no jam all along the way, smooth drive all along until we reached Gopeng Perak, we visit the famous
'Kellie's Castle' for many pictures about an hour then we passed by Batu Gajah nearby to Pantai Remis not
long after that. We stopped here for the famous 'Ham Yu'(fermented/pickled fish) and local snacks in Perak.
I know it's cancerous and dangerous to consume this too much, but we can't help it sometimes as we all love
taking this once in a blue moon. If it's not because my mom loves it so much I won't buy but she wanted it so
I just bought one big 'Ham Yu' and other local snacks like Sotong and Ikan Bilis for her. All of my bro and sis
bought, almost all of them bought for family and friends as it's only about RM12 compared to KL, you can't
get it at this price. Although all of us knew it's not good for health but still, we wana buy it as we're all humans
we tend to be tempted sometimes to indulge fermented fish that tasted really yummy if you know how to cook it.
In fact, my dear Charmers love taking it also but I never encouraged them to take it at all as it's bad for health.

The trip to 'Toa Pak Kung Temple' that's been the latest tourist attraction to many tourists including the locals
like us. My Sis Toto told me that it's one of the famous place now for Malaysia tourist attraction, she read from
the Chinese magazine and she's looking forward to visit this place after reading the good reviews of this place.

This place is quite huge with so many people coming here including the Chinese tourists from China. Yea,
they are almost everywhere in Malaysia now, from JPO in Johor with about 8 tour coaches bringing them
to shop till they drop to Perak, I see them here around taking pictures from one corner to another corner.

Malaysia's weather is really too hot that we went for a coconut drink 1st before we start on the temple
journey all around this place. I got so tanned on my face and my whole body got sun burned after the
local trip during Raya holiday. So sad, I went back home I put on lots of mask and scrubbing to brighten
up my face and body back to fair skin again.

This place is full of the fishes that can walk, which once Penang was full of this kinda fishes. I don't know
what's the name of the fish but it actually walks like a chameleon and it's kinda ugly to me. Haha...even the
colour of the fish is gray black, not pretty at all. They even climb up the trees, sat on the rocks and swimming
around the water. Not afraid of you human, they are almost everywhere from babies to big adult fishes.

This place is decorated almost like many of the Chinese temples I have visited in China so it's really not a big
deal to me as I have seen many other nicer and bigger temples that are very beautiful in China. I should be
more supportive to encourage more tourists to visit Malaysia but that's the truth I can express about this
temple. For many of them, they may enjoy it as they have never visit other places in China yet so this place can
be interesting for many of them esp. the kids who can enjoy watching tortoise at the cave inside the temple for
praying, trying out local snacks and do some shopping. That's why everytime when I go China, the tour guide
shared with me that Malaysia is no fun place except the food, coffee and great hospitality. I do understand
why they said that because it's true, obviously we cannot compare our temples with theirs, their strategy in
promoting tourism is always the best in the world and they have everything we wanted so long you can afford,
bring enough money to shop only. They just have the charms of everything, there's no doubt about it but our
Malaysian food is always better than them and that's our fun part of winning them something they can agree to.

We went to a nearby beach for a rest before our Seafood dinner. The waves are too strong here, not suitable
for a swim here. But I can't help it as I love beach and playing water here for awhile before the sun sets.

The next morning after a yummy Kari Mee breakfast, we went to the fishing village to get some fresh fishes.
Not for me of course as I won't demand fresh fish to be slaughtered for my indulgence. In fact when my mom
told me that she bought the fresh fish from the morning market, she chose the fish and they actually bangs
and kill the fish alive, I told her better don't buy it anymore. We should encouraged 'Fong Sang' and not into
killing, that's why I stop at the temple and waited for them to buy it. I hope they bought those already dead.

Such a tiring day for Raya Holiday like this trip as early am we already went out for breakfast, then lunch
and tea breaks with Nasi Lemak, Kuih-Muih and ABC indulgence that we all got so plumped up, then at
night great dinner some more with whole family. We only eat, see and play like kids on a local holiday trip.

This 'Hao Fook Restaurant' was the best dinner we had here in Pantai Remis. You know, I really thanked
'Gu Gu' for her efforts to bring us all here for the food indulgence because there are two groups of the
Vegans vs. The Meat Lovers in this group of family. We need about an hour to discuss the food menu of
what the Vegans wana eat and the meat lovers who wana take best seafood. The owner of this restaurant is
an old woman aged in her 60's, used to have a big restaurant in PJ but came back to Pantai Remis for good.
She discussed with us on her specialty food that we agreed for the Vegans, vegetarian choices. I told her
my Bro.Chai is a total Buddhist, they exchanged 'Amituofo' greetings with each other and we decided to
have our lunch here too since we spent too much time on the menu discussion here.

That night, not only our dinner was the best dinner we had here we also tried
to figure out the total bill that's not only got us surprised by the price for 2 big
tables of good food great taste but in the next morning, we still gave many good
compliments to this restaurant. And back home, I told my family about it too as
we enjoyed the great dinner so much that it's worth sharing it with others.

Da Jie bought us the best 'Hung Dau Ping' from here and for the 1st time ever, I enjoyed this nice Red Bean Ice
together with Elaine, niece of  Gugu who's also a good tour guide to us during our stay here in Perak. From
Sitiawan to Teluk Batik, we have travel long enough already around Perak, it's the new food I just can't forget
to remember for many years to come. I don't mind to travel here again if there's anymore new food I should try.

One of the best Crab Porridge I ever had here in Perak as it's really yummy with the fresh, sweet taste of crabs
in this fancy restaurant, which also received a like from the famous Hongkong 'Sik Sen' (Eating God). Haha...I
was just sitting beside the restaurant photo when all of them were talking about it and I got really excited liao
to try out the restaurant specialties.

Very nice lunch we had here with so many diners, I really enjoy the yummy
Crab Porridge, specialty dishes here and seafood that actually suits for 10 pax
although they ordered for 5 pax only. We clean the big plates of good food real
smooth as we dont' wana waste the food, including the big claypot of porridge.
We left with stomach full of great memories to remember about 'Pantai Remis'
and I'm glad that I came for the food and lovely memories with Rambo's family.

AVILLION Port Dickson, Malaysia

One of my dream/goals came true that year when Rambo's company decided to have a stay at Avillion PD.
We came during super peak season, school holiday in December, cost about RM500 per night plus a BBQ
Buffet Dinner that night with all the staffs. My mom and LeAnne felt very uneasy sleeping on this floating
chalet as they can hear the strong waves down below,  not feeling comfortable sleeping above the water.
But for me, I can sleep well that night, just blissfully and peacefully above the PD sea...Haha.

The floating Avi Spa building behind me, strong and stunning building in the middle of PD sea.

The Avi Spa reception with blue green decors, so enchanting immediately excite me to choose the right
treatment for my spa pampering that afternoon. It's not cheap of course, start from RM100 and above.

That afternoon I decided to relax here for reading before I start on the spa as Rambo went for team building
activities with his colleagues and I'm not into all this kinda active sports now so I rather go for a spa. The last
time at Swiss Hotel Cherating I joined them already and since there's a great spa around, I definitely go for this.

Green and serene environment here, feeling totally on top of the world just to be here. My family was supposed
to join me for a rejuvenating spa with me but they were late that day as the kids have dancing+art classes so
I just enjoy my spa pampering 1st at this tranquil atmosphere of Avi Spa PD.

Rambo quickly completed his things and rushed over to meet me here. He enjoyed the tea so much and
having great time here with me just relaxing and cool chilling till I need to take my bath before the dinner.

A very nice place with total privacy as no one is allowed to come up here unless you go for a spa here.

When I was enjoying my bath, my dear Charmers knocked and zoom into the bathroom to look for me. So
happy to see them finally arrived to Avillion PD that evening. They wanted to join me for a bath but I told
them I'm preparing to go for buffet dinner with Rambo and company staffs, so they went back to their room.
I told them I would meet them soon right after the dinner and let them enjoy their bath at their nearby room.

The BBQ Buffet Dinner at the hotel was so-so only although it's full of people in the restaurant. Cost RM100
per person was kinda expensive although paid by the company not from my own pocket, but I was thinking
the hotel should charge RM50 for Malaysians and for tourists from around the world can be charge RM100.
Avillion PD, if you're reading this you should consider about it as we are earning Ringgit Malaysia not USD!

Early morning I went for a cold swim with Rambo while enjoying my hot Cafe 21. Haha...we took many
pictures for lovely memories here.

Avillion PD really owned some nice pools around here, from the slide pool to this big, adult pool that's
blue green in colour. And I like it just located next to the restaurant which is kinda cool and happening.

We have great time swimming and taking lots of pictures here esp. my Charmers, they felt so excited to be here.

After bringing them around Avillion PD for animal farm feeding session, having a big Malaysian breakfast with
Nasi Lemak of course and they wanted to be under the spell of sun, sea and sand. Lynette was calling me, "Dai
Yiyi, you see" on the big hole she dug here on the beach. "Wah, so big ah", I replied her then joining her to play.
At 1st, I was just relaxing here on the beach gossiping about life with Rambo, Defney and my mom...Haha!

After my spa session, enjoying their special Ginger Orange Tea. All at once, reviving back my energy level as
after the relaxing spa on this floating spa, I fell asleep and they let me sleep till I got up. Haha...too relaxing liao.
This was the 1st visit I had at Avi Spa, the year before I stayed a night here just for a spa pampering session.

The floating Avi Spa is really stunning with best views ever all around me. Feels like floating above the sea
as I can feel the waves splashing through below me, even during the spa I can feel it too. It's exhilarating!

The top floor of the glass-building of Avi Spa that managed to capture the bird's eyes view. Fantastic and
fascinating feeling when I was here. Don't feel like leaving this place so soon but we gotta leave anyway.
I would say Avi Spa is suitable for spa events and parties that's longing for a relaxing ambience. Love it!
